How long are appointments, and how much do they cost?

Jigsaw Humanity’s Therapeutic Services (Physical Therapy, Vestibular Rehab, and Associative Awareness Technique) all follow the same appointment time length and cost:

  • Evaluations are scheduled for 60 minutes, and cost $200

    • This includes Annual PT Wellness Exams, Fitness Program Assessment/Plans, and Sports Physicals

  • Treatments are scheduled for 45 minutes, and cost $125

*For clients with complex histories that require further medical documentation or imaging review, and/or consultation with other professionals outside of the client’s appt time (i.e. coordinating care with physicians, other body workers, physical trainers, mental health professionals, and/or lawyers), Tracy reserves the right to bill clients for this additional time. Documentation review and coordination of care is charged at a rate of $15 per 15min, and is not eligible for insurance reimbursement.

Jigsaw Humanity’s Movement Services:

  • Swim Services

    • Water Comfort and Survival - more info coming

    • Open Water Swim Group - 90 minutes, $25 registration

  • Cycling Services

    • Ride with a PT - 120 minutes, $25 registration

    • Bike Fit Clinic - 90 minutes, and cost $300

Do you accept medical insurance?

Jigsaw Humanity’s Movement Services are private pay services, as they do not qualify for medical insurance reimbursement.

For Therapeutic Services, Jigsaw Humanity has elected to not accept medical insurance in order to remain fully committed to serving the client first. When a third-party payor is involved, that voice gets a say - and unfortunately, insurance coverage can dictate care. Without this factor, Tracy is able to provide you her full attention, knowledge, and skill in the manner and timeframe that most serves you. JH therefore accepts direct payment only, in the form of cash or credit card. Full cost of service is due at the time of service.

For clients wishing to submit an out-of-network provider claim for reimbursement, Jigsaw Humanity can provide a superbill. Please note this is not a guarantee of payment, and clients are encouraged to check with their insurance provider directly regarding their policy.

Do you provide a sliding scale for service cost?

Jigsaw Humanity is not currently able to provide a sliding scale for services. We hope to gain the ability to provide this over time, and will work to pursue sources of funding to support that effort.

What is Jigsaw Humanity’s Cancellation Policy?

Jigsaw Humanity requests that clients provide 24hrs cancellation notice, including the reason for cancellation so that we can continue to provide optimal care to you as well as our greater community. If an appointment is cancelled within 24hrs, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged to the client’s credit card on file. Note that if the appointment is able to be successfully rescheduled within the same week, this fee will be waived. Jigsaw Humanity reserves the right to discontinue care for clients who demonstrate a pattern of cancellations.
