Our Doors are Open

It’s official!! Jigsaw Humanity Therapeutics is cleared by the city of Wheat Ridge to start operating (read: seeing clients) in its space at Ridgeview Direct Primary Care. Let’s goooo!!

I could not be happier with the space and how it’s come together. It’s just the right amount of room for both the treatment and the gym spaces, housing all the critical things without feeling either too expansive or scrunched and cluttered. It feels . . . well, therapeutic. Even when it’s just me in the office, I feel a deeper sense of peace in my own body and harmony with the work I’m coming into. It’s both grounding and freeing.

As the space is now official, that means it’s time for the next step: Marketing. As my caseload gradually builds over the coming months, I’ll be leaning heavily into marketing, creating brochures and newsletters, connecting with complimentary local providers and business owners, networking through local groups and perhaps a bit through social media too. (I have deleted all my social media personally as it is simply not serving me, but I am contemplating creating a LinkedIn for my professional life and JHT specifically in order to expand its network and reach. We’ll see - I’m not entirely sure the pros outweigh the cons.)

I look forward to embracing this less-scheduled time to create these connections, as well as expand my knowledge through reading the small stack of books I’ve collected since really pursuing this venture of physical therapy with a trauma-healing lean. That stack includes titles like Waking the Tiger by Peter Levine, Eastern Body, Western Mind by Anodea Judith, and The Wakeful Body by Willa Blythe Baker, in addition to other energy healing and restorative works. I hope in exploring these texts I not only learn how to incorporate more expansive techniques into my practice, but am inspired to integrate them into my own journey of healing and restoration.

See you soon in the clinic, dear friends and community. Reach out anytime to schedule.
